Sport Clips Men’s Salon Franchise Is A Wise Investment

Why Invest in a Men’s Salon Franchise

Men’s hair care is one of the fastest growing industries, with no signs of slowing down. According to a report in Fortune Business Insights, the global salon services market size was valued at $215.65 billion in 2022, and is projected to grow from $230.64 billion in 2023 to $383.88 billion by 2030. That’s a CAGR of 7.55% in just seven years! Indeed, the demand for men’s grooming services is experiencing unprecedented growth, making it a wise choice for aspiring entrepreneurs to invest in this industry.

So what’s driving all this growth? For starters, men are increasingly becoming conscious of their appearance and are willing to invest in their grooming. They want to look and feel their best, and the men’s salon industry is meeting this demand by offering a range of services that cater to their needs – and not just haircuts and shaves. Now, many salons offer a wide range of services, including beard grooming and facials.

“Hairdressing parlors worldwide are increasingly utilizing sustainable and scented hair shampoos and massaging oils to enhance the customer experience,” Fortune Business Insights reported. “For instance, Sport Clips, a U.S.-based hair salon, uses steamed towels, massaging shampoo and custom-blended proprietary scents while offering neck and shoulder treatments and haircutting services. The rising need for salons to innovate their service offerings will positively influence market growth over the forest timeframe.”

Sport Clips Men’s Salon Franchise

Known as one of the most storied brands in the men’s salon industry, Sport Clips has become a unique fixture in hair care, with more than 1,800 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Sport Clips has become the go-to salon for men, with specialization in men’s grooming, signature services, sports-themed environment, online check-in, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Indeed, Sport Clips stylists are expertly trained to work with men’s hair, and we offer a range of services competitors can’t match, including the MVP Experience, which includes a precision haircut, hot towel treatment, and massaging shampoo. There’s a reason why Sport Clips has been around for so long and seen such incredible growth, especially in the last few years. And that’s because the franchise is committed to providing the best customer experience possible, while at the same time, offering a proven business model to franchisees who can bring the brand to the next level.

“At Sport Clips, we specialize in haircuts for men and boys, and we know what they want,” says Gordon Logan, the founder and CEO of Sport Clips. “They want a great haircut, in a place where they feel comfortable, with no appointment necessary, and they want to be treated like an MVP. That’s what we deliver, and that’s what sets us apart.”

Incredible Demand

The demand in the men’s salon industry is through the roof, and it’s not hard to see why – literally every guy is a potential customer! More than ever, men are becoming more health conscious. They want to look and feel their best, and that includes regular hair care services, and being willing to pay for it. Indeed, every age group and income bracket is a potential customer base, because every man wants to look good and feel confident.

But that’s not all. Men are also looking for experiences that go beyond the traditional barbershop. Salons that offer a range of services, such as massages and facials, in addition to haircuts and shaves, are more likely to attract more customers. What do men want more than convenience? It’s true – salons that offer online booking and walk-in services make it easy for men to get the grooming services they need without having to schedule an appointment in advance. As the industry continues to grow and evolve, salons that cater to these needs are likely to see continued growth.

Affordable Investment

Sport Clips offers one of the best business models in the industry, evidenced by decades of growth and locations open across the U.S. and Canada. With low initial investments and start-up costs, Sport Clips is an accessible investment opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to take their future into their own hands. It’s true – the estimated total investment to open a new Sport Clips franchise ranges $266,300 to $439,500, making Sport Clips a low cost investment with the potential for high returns. The total estimated investment includes everything you need to get started, including the initial franchise fee, the costs of build out, Grand Opening marketing expenses, and up to six months of working capital to ensure your business gets off to a good start.

Also, while the price point of Sport Clips services varies by location, it is generally competitive with other men’s grooming options. The brand offers a range of services, from haircuts to beard trims to facial treatments, at a reasonable price. This has helped to attract a diverse customer base, including budget-conscious men who want high-quality services at an affordable price.

Last but certainly not least, Sport Clips has a proven business model that has enabled it to rapidly expand its footprint across the U.S. and Canada. From Stylist To Owner

How Three Sport Clips Haircuts Franchisees Built Their Future

Sport Clips Haircuts has established itself as the “Pros in Men’s Hair” and a reliable choice for men’s haircuts nationwide. What sets Sport Clips apart to its clients is a product of the work environment fostered by store leadership. For some store owners, managing a team of stylists comes second nature, because they got their start as stylists themselves.

Amanda Mazzone, owner of three Sport Clips locations in the New Jersey area, has been with the franchise since she was 22 years old, when she started out as a coordinator with dreams of becoming a stylist. Mazzone was drawn to this work as a child, because she saw other stylists carrying themselves with incredible confidence. “I loved who they were as people,” she said. Mazzone brought this people focused approach to her management style, where she prioritizes building relationships and treating employees and clients with kindness. The perspective gained through experience as a stylist provides substantial benefits when it comes to leading a team.

from stylist to owner

“It has an advantage, because you know what you are doing, and the stylists always say ‘You understand us better’,” said Almaz Haile, who began her journey with the franchise in 2000 as a stylist. Management positions require an ability to multitask and think on your feet, skills that Haile learned through working as both a stylist and manager. The insight into all the roles that make up a Sport Clips team is a glimpse into what sets the brand apart from others.

from stylist to owner

“I’ve seen other shops where they don’t care about their employees, but with Sport Clips, the way we focus on the culture of the store and how we focus on the team members, that mentality helps drive us to how successful it has been in every state,” said Gregory Zotian, who also began as a barber to gain experience before owning his own stores.

from stylist to owner

The Sport Clips Difference

The Sport Clips difference extends from the team member culture to the service enjoyed by the client. Zotian said Sport Clips is unique because it focuses on cultivating the specialized in-store experience, elevating it above a simple haircut. Mazzone adds, “It’s not just a haircut, it’s an entire experience.”

And working within the Sport Clips franchise allows store owners (team leaders) to focus on cultivating the extraordinary client experience they are known for, instead of spending time on some of the elemental concerns solo store owners have. From on-going education to employee assistance to operations to human resources to a brand marketing team, the Sport Clips franchise supports its store owners by allowing them to devote their time where it matters: their team members and clients.

However, that doesn’t mean managing your own store doesn’t come without long hours and hard work. The biggest piece of advice all three stylists/barber turned owners gave to others looking to follow their footsteps? Work hard. “I tell them the grass is greener here, because we make it green,” Haile said, speaking to the importance of putting in effort to get yourself where you want to go. “It doesn’t happen overnight,” she said, “but with hard work you can get there.”

Sport Clips Is Proven To Be Recession Resistant

Why Invest in a Recession Resistant Franchise?

Like it or not, there are some things in life that are out of our control. As a business owner, one of the major unpredictable forces that can have a huge impact on your livelihood are recessions. In the simplest terms, a recession is a prolonged period of weak and/or negative growth in real GDP. For small businesses, that means they can face declines in sales and profits, be forced to cut spending and staff, and in worst case scenarios, significantly scale back or even close. But, there’s a huge silver lining – some industries, markets, and businesses are more immune to the economic ups and downs that are beyond our control. Time and again, it’s those segments that more entrepreneurs are investing in for the long-term financial health of their business and livelihood.

According to a report in AP News, nearly 60% of U.S. business economists expect a recession to begin in this spring or summer, a result of high interest rates and increasing inflation. One economic expert told ABC News that a slowdown in the economy brought on by the Fed typically results in a lag of a few months behind given rate hikes. “Just because the economy is doing OK today doesn’t mean the economy won’t go into recession,” Nancy Lazar, chief global economist at Piper Sanderl, told ABC News. “It’s happening slowly.”

By investing in an industry or franchise system that has proven to withstand the challenges of previous recessions, entrepreneurs can soften – and even thrive – in times of economic hardships. Indeed, a report in Investopedia said recession-resistant companies can generally deliver stable revenue, regardless of outside economic conditions. “When looking to minimize downside risk during a recession, investors should look for companies that sell products or offer services consumers cannot easily cut,” Investopedia reported.

A Recession Resistant Industry

Aspiring entrepreneurs seeking a recession-resistant industry must hone in on industries that have constant demand and are always needed. In steps the hair care industry. Hair, like home services, always grows and will always need to be cut. There’s simply no alternative to having the quality service and care that your local hair salon can provide. Case in point: after the forced shutdowns brought on by the pandemic, hair salons across the U.S. experienced an unprecedented surge in visitation, as customers were beyond eager to get back in chairs and have their hair cut by a professional.

But don’t just take our word for it. According to a report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the hair care industry has a “bright outlook” in the coming years. Overall, the personal care services industry, which includes barbershops and hair salons, is projected to grow 8.1% from 2020 to 2030, nearly five times faster than the average 1.7% growth for total employment!

“The primary long-term factors driving employment growth in the personal care services industry are the general increase in demand for grooming services, a growing customer base, and the introduction of new services,” the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. “A new haircut or manicure can boost self-confidence and make people feel better. As a result, many turn to professionals at barbershops, beauty and nail salons, and other personal care services for help to get that perfect haircut or style.”

Proven and Tested

Among the hair care industry, there is no company with a better reputation and bigger brand recognition than Sports Clips, the go-to spot for men and boys hair care. Founded in 1993, Sport Clips has become a mainstay in just about every city and town throughout the U.S. Case in point: despite the 2008 recession, despite the shutdowns of 2020, and despite the lingering impacts of the pandemic on the U.S. economy, Sport Clips not only continues to thrive, but also expands across the country. As of now, Sport Clips boasts more than 1,800 locations in all 50 U.S. states, with plans to open even more units in the coming years. What more proof do you need than that?

Sport Clips continued growth is attributed to its straightforward, high profit potential business model, an operating plan that excels at low ongoing and overhead costs, and a backing team of professionals that are there to support Team Leaders every step of the way. Entrepreneurs seeking a best bet investment opportunity would be lost finding a better brand with more proven growth than Sport Clips.

“Sport Clips is stronger than ever before,” says Edward Logan, CEO of Sport Clips. “We’ve proven that we’re not only recession-resistant, but we’re also pandemic-resistant. This is a very stable business with steady cash flow and straightforward business model. Now is a great time to invest in Sport Clips, because as we head into 2022, we’re excited about the great real estate opportunities that exist right now, as well as the disruption of client behavior. As people change their buying behavior and their habits, the brands that go out and capture those clients are going to win an outsize market share. That’s going to be us because that’s how we’re thinking.”

Unmatched Franchise Support

It all starts with the amount of training and support Sport Clips provides to its Team Leaders. This is why Sport Clips has invested so heavily in one of the most robust ongoing support platforms in the industry. As a Team Leader, we’ll help you master how to hire and retain staff, manage operations, use our state-of-the-art technology, market effectively, meet your financial goals, and much, much more. From day one, the Sport Clips team helps you find a location for your business, as well as all the tricky ins and outs of the real estate process. We also provide a comprehensive training plan for your stylists, ongoing support, and professional advancement. For anything and everything, Sport Clips is there.

“Culture is key,” says Julie Vargas, Vice President of Career Development & Team Member Engagement. “If you take care of your people, they will take care of you. It sounds so simple, but it’s so important. If you have happy stylists, they will go above and beyond for your customers. But just as importantly, if you take care of your people, they will stay with you, they will be loyal to you, and they will drive your success.”

The Future Of The Hair Salon Industry

A Service Always in Need

In good times and bad, hair continues to grow, and people are going to seek out hair salons to meet their grooming needs.   Time and again, Sport Clips is a top choice. After a few challenging years, the outlook is bright for the personal care service industry. According to federal data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the personal care services industry, which includes barbershops, beauty and nail salons, as well as other personal care services, is projected to grow 8.1 percent from 2020 to 2030, nearly five times faster than the average 1.7 growth for total employment.

“A new haircut or manicure can boost self-confidence and make people feel better,” the BLS report said. “As a result, many turn to professionals at barbershops, beauty and nail salons, and other personal care services for help to get that perfect haircut or style. The workers in this industry provide many beauty and wellness related treatments for hair, skin, nails, and body. According to employment projections from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the future looks bright for those who provide these services.”

hair salon industry

The Future of the Hair Salon Industry is Bright

Just as encouraging, the Future Market Insights research study firm estimated the global market for salon services to experience “unprecedented growth,” reaching $280 billion in just 10 years, with 40% coming from North America. “In the past 10 years, the salon services market has become a priority for people around the world,” the report says. “This surge in spending has resulted in significant expansion within salon services across all markets globally. Consumer awareness about the benefits associated with beauty salons is also propelling the growth of the salon services market.”

As of 2023, the salon services market was valued at $233.8 billion. From 2023-33, the industry is poised to grow at a 7.46% CAGR, meaning that by 2033, the salon service market will have reached a valuation of $480 billion! Digging into the numbers, Future Market Insights said the hair care segment accounted for the largest share of growth, and “is expected to continue this trend over the forecast period.” The numbers don’t lie – it’s simply an amazing time to invest in the hair salon industry.

Sport Clips Meets the Demand

With all that demand for hair care services, it’s going to take a lot more providers. But not all hair salons are created equal. Sport Clips, founded in 1993, is a legacy brand known by consumers everywhere. Now with more than 1,800 locations in North America, and a footprint in all 50 U.S. states, Sport Clips has become a dominant brand in the hair salon industry. Despite this strong market presence, Sport Clips is only expected to grow in the coming years. And, with an easy-to-scale, easy-to-replicate business model, many of our franchise owners boast anywhere between 10 to 40 locations.

“Sport Clips is stronger than ever before,” says Edward Logan, CEO of Sport Clips. “We’ve proven that we’re not only recession-resistant, but we’re also pandemic-resistant. This is a very stable business with steady cash flow and straightforward business model. Now is a great time to invest in Sport Clips, because as we head into 2023, we’re excited about the great real estate opportunities that exist right now, as well as the disruption of client behavior. As people change their buying behavior and their habits, the brands that go out and capture those clients are going to win an outsize market share. That’s going to be us because that’s how we’re thinking.”

Unrivaled Support Team

Sport Clips has always invested heavily in its support team, evidenced by 30 years of growth. But recently, the franchise system made some exciting upgrades that’s going to push the bar even higher. Sport Clips takes every possible measure to help  frachisees continue to thrive and prosper, providing you with all the tools, resources and coaching necessary.

From the get-go, we teach you how to hire and retain a team, how to manage compensation and scheduling, how to use technology and understand financials and store performance, and how to market effectively in your community. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We also help with all the nitty-gritty details of selecting and securing a site location, working with landlords, and even helping with the grand opening. And, as long as you’re a Sport Clips franchisees, you have the backing support of the entire franchise system.

“We’re closing in on 1,900 locations,” says Gordon Logan, Founder of Sport Clips. “We know this business works. We’ve been able to help entrepreneurs change their lives through business ownership. In turn, they’ve been able to create countless opportunities in their communities and give back. We’re going to continue to grow – but we’re growing the right way and with the right people.”

Why Franchising Is The Solution To Corporate Burnout

Corporate Burnout Is Just The Start for Many Workers

It wasn’t until recently that we’ve been able to talk openly about corporate burnout. In the past, workers were made to feel it was a normal and expected part of the job to put in long hours, endure constant stress, and never be able to put work away. Many workers were even reluctant to question these supposed norms, fearing there would always be someone else willing to take their place. Behind the scenes, however, corporate burnout took many forms: chronic depression, feelings of emptiness, weight gain, substance abuse, physical exhaustion, irritable outbursts, mental fatigue – just to name a few of the many associated symptoms.

Many factors may contribute to corporate burnout, too – heavy workloads, long hours, unhealthy work-life balance, or feeling like you have no control over your work. Indeed, research suggests many workers feel this is a result of unclear job expectations, dysfunctional workplaces, lack of support, and feelings of isolation at work. The Mayo Clinic put together a list to ask yourself if you think you are experiencing corporate burnout: Have you become cynical at work? Do you have trouble finding the motivation to get started for the day? Is it hard to concentrate? Are you dissatisfied with your achievements? Have you become irritable with co-workers and clients? Any of these can be a sign you are suffering from burnout.

Fortunately, corporate burnout is now being talked about in the mainstream. In 2019, the World Health Organization recognized the affliction in the “International Classification of Diseases.” And that was before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, workers have left their previous jobs in record numbers, in favor of new employment opportunities with healthier work-life balances. More than ever before, American workers are fed up with the unnecessary and unrewarding demands of corporate jobs, and are seeking out more meaningful, rewarding, and downright fun career paths.

sport clips studio solves corporate burnout

The Great Resignation

While corporate burnout isn’t new, the events of the past two years have led us to what’s known as “The Great Resignation.” In 2021 alone, about 47.5 million people voluntarily quit their job – an unprecedented record amount – looking for better work during the pandemic. Even now, this trend shows no signs of slowing down: currently, about 40 percent of employees are considering leaving their job, according to a report in Fortune magazine.

So why are workers quitting their jobs? A Pew Research Center study found most workers cited low pay, a lack of opportunities for advancement, and feeling disrespected at work as the top reasons why they left their places of employment. Respondents in the survey listed they were looking for a better work-life balance and more flexibility. If we’ve learned anything the past two years, it’s that long-standing issues with corporate workplaces were exacerbated, and came to a boiling point, during the pandemic, leading to record shifts in the American workforce.

Franchising Is The Answer

Leaving the corporate world behind, American workers are increasingly choosing to realize their dreams of small business ownership and be their own boss through the benefits of franchising. Case in point: over 17,000 new franchise locations were added in the US in the past year, according to the International Franchise Association.

“Overall, it has been a long and difficult time, but the franchise industry has made it through to the other side,” Forbes magazine wrote. “Now, as more and more people look to take control of their destiny through entrepreneurship, and customers return to their pre-pandemic habits, it is an incredibly exciting time to be a part of the franchise industry.”

Let’s look at why franchising is the preferred choice for aspiring entrepreneurs. For one, franchise owners have all the freedoms of making judgment calls and decisions that are right for their business, while at the same time, having the backing support of a franchise network. To that end, franchisees truly have unlimited profit potential. With a proven strategy and solid business plan in place, franchise owners are provided the groundwork for their investment. With unlimited training and support on operational aspects like technology and marketing, franchise owners have the capacity to focus on growth.

Sport Clips Haircuts has a long and proven track record of helping entrepreneurs seek greater freedom, a more flexible lifestyle, and a solid foundational future. As a result, you have the freedom and flexibility to grow your business, develop and implement marketing strategies, and take care of administrative duties on the back end. Team Leaders are expected to spend only 10-15 hours on their stores per week, which allows for the opportunity for multi-unit ownership.

“Sport Clips was designed from day one to be a multi-unit opportunity,” says Jim Atkinson, vice president of franchise development. “This was never set up to an individual unit where someone buys a job for the rest of their lives. Our business model is very simple: we cut hair. We built our business model to scale, and we have all the resources to scale quickly and effectively. We know when you should add resources and when to build additional infrastructure. Whether you want to scale up to three stores, five stores, 10 stores, or beyond, we have a plan that can help you get there.”

Sport Clips Haircuts Showcased for MVP Experience

MVP Experience Getting Attention

Making clients feel like they’re special and receiving first-class service is no easy task, but Sport Clips Haircuts has perfected the craft. Recently, Franchising.com acknowledged Sport Clips’ famed MVP Experience and how it makes the wildly popular hair care provider stand out as a fan favorite. When a client comes into a Sport Clips location for MVP service, they are greeted with a hot steamed towel, massaging shampoo, and neck and shoulder treatment, as well as a precision haircut. Now, Sport Clips has released a new addition that’s already become a hit – a proprietary custom blend of organic scents.

“When our clients come in, we’ve found that even if they’re in a hurry, they want to feel relaxed while they’re getting a haircut,” says Edward Logan, Sport Clips CEO and president. “We introduced the MVP service in 2005, 12 years after we opened our first store in 1993. Through years of perfecting the processes in becoming the pros in men’s hair, we’ve found the addition of ‘scent’ enhances the client experience and allows the relaxation to begin soon after they walk in the door.”

Sport Clips has found soothing scents improve a client’s overall experience. Now when a client visits their local Sport Clips, the hot steamed towel that’s applied to the face during the MVP is infused with a relaxing blend, such as chamomile, lavender, and eucalyptus. As an added bonus: the scents are plant-based and all natural. Already it’s proven to be a successful service: 82 percent of clients surveyed in product testing said the new scent improves the MVP experience.

Sport Clips Always Evolving

Sport Clips is proud to have grown to nearly 1,900 locations since it was founded in 1993, but that doesn’t mean the franchise has become complacent. Instead, Sport Clips is always looking for ways to evolve and adapt to client needs and desires.

Among our many new and innovative ideas, Sport Clips’ online check-in platform makes it easy for clients to check in for their service on their phones, tablets, or laptops. Then, when they arrive, their name is on a digital wallboard, so they can see when “on deck” for their haircut. In recent months, Sport Clips has invested heavily in new technology and marketing strategies to make sure we’re ahead of the curve and ahead of competitors. As part of Sports Clips ingrained culture, we make a point to include franchisee input, because who knows better how to improve our business model than the people running it day to day?

Sport Clips is primed for growth, but not just growth for growth’s sake – we place a high value on strategic growth, only opening where it makes sense for the strongest likelihood for success. Our franchisees have also invested in multi-unit ownership in record numbers, expanding their footprint and diversifying their revenue stream. Now, Sport Clips is offering opportunities in prime markets across the U.S.

Why Sport Clips Haircuts Beats Food Franchise Opportunities

Sport Clips vs Food Franchise Opportunities

Labor shortages, an oversaturated market, poor hours, food inventory – increasingly, food franchise opportunities face extreme challenges and uncertainties that are intrinsic to their business model. That’s why aspiring entrepreneurs looking for best bet investments have turned to Sport Clips Haircuts, the nation’s leading hair care franchise for men & boys. A Sport Clips franchise is an easy-to-use business model that’s recession resistant, has better hours, and more flexibility for owners. Sport Clips has emerged as the brand to beat.

So why does Sport Clips outcompete food franchises as a best bet opportunity? We’ll narrow it down to four main reasons: a superior business model, a service that is recession-resistant, incredible flexibility for franchisees, and a smart and responsible growth plan that benefits not only Sport Clips, but also individual franchisees. Let’s break it down a little further.

Business Model

For starters, food franchises are incredibly complex to run. Food franchise owners must bank on high volume to bring in profits. Plus, you have to take into account the ever-shifting cost of food, rent, staff, training, and utilities, to name a few. Restaurant owners also have to worry about food spoilage, volatile food cost, and food safety concerns.

Sport Clips franchises, on the other hand, boast a business model that’s simple in nature, with minimal inventory to track. As compared to food franchises, Sport Clips owners don’t have to worry about throwing away profits (spoiled food) or E. Coli outbreaks or other food safety concerns. Our franchisees are freed up to focus on growth and profits. Time and again, hair care has proven to be a more efficient and simpler model that is need based.

Recession-resistant

Sport Clips also boasts the edge over food franchises when it comes to the unknowns life throws at you, such as recessions. For one, haircuts can’t be outsourced or automated, which means our services will always be in demand, no matter the economy. As a result, Sport Clips continues to open stores in strategic locations in growing markets and focus on quality locations over quantity. During the 2008 – 2011 economic downtown, Sport Clips continued to grow responsibly and continued to be positioned well at the high end of the value space. As full service and luxury priced salons declined during that period, Sport Clips was proud to continue to grow while providing a value added service at a reasonable price!

If that wasn’t enough, Sport Clips also isn’t subject to commodity pricing that wildly fluctuates in times of recession. Simply put: our franchisees are not at the mercy of inflation or price increases as restaurants are. As we saw over the past two years during the pandemic, food franchises are especially vulnerable to lockdowns. Sport Clips, on the other hand, not only survived the pandemic, but experienced an unprecedented comeback after restrictions were lifted, as customers were beyond eager to get back in the barber chair.

Flexibility

Think of a restaurant owner, and what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Stress! It’s no secret – food franchise operators work long, chaotic hours. Even when the restaurant is closed to the public, managers and staff are either prepping for the day or cleaning up at night. It’s almost a 24/7 operation, which means little flexibility for franchisees. You can kiss those dreams of semi-absentee ownership goodbye.

Sport Clips franchise owners, however, can set their own hours and, because of our simple business model, can focus their time and effort on the growth of the company. With managers handling the day-to-day, Sport Clips’ semi-absentee/manager-run business model gives franchise owners the opportunity to focus on the business growth and leave day-to-day management to your trusted team. No salon experience is necessary!

Responsible growth plan

On top of it all, whereas restaurants can be found on every corner, Sport Clips has a responsible growth plan in place, adding quality locations every year. In 2021, for instance, it was estimated there were more than 188,400 quick-service franchise restaurants and over 32,000 full-service restaurant franchises in the U.S. Indeed, some of the biggest names in the food franchise industry base their entire business on unmitigated growth, no matter the health of individual franchisees.

At Sport Clips, we maintain high standards for responsible growth, making sure all our franchisees have the opportunity to thrive. It’s one of the many reasons why Sport Clips was ranked as the top hair care franchise opportunity in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 and is one of top 25 franchise brands in the country. We take care of our people, and help our franchises reach their full growth potential by becoming multi-unit owners.
