Sport Clips Makes The 2022 Multi-Unit 50

Multi-Unit Franchisees Love Sport Clips

One of the greatest signs of the health of a franchise system is looking at how much franchisees reinvest in the brand – also known as multi-unit franchising. In fact, according to FRANdata, a franchise industry researcher, 47 percent of all franchisees own a single unit. On the other hand, 53 percent have at least two units, with many operating dozens or even hundreds of units. In all, multi-unit franchisees control 450,000 of the franchise units in the U.S.!

That’s why it’s so exciting to announce Sport Clips was named as one of Franchising.com’s top “Multi-Unit 50”. Every year, Franchising.com analyzes the top performing U.S. franchises, and then ranks, which among them rise to the top in the multi-unit franchise category. According to Franchising.com, Sport Clips ranked No. 23, with a total of 280 multi-unit franchisees, which accounts for nearly 72% of all Sport Clips locations!

“At its most effective, multi-unit franchising can allow for the franchisee (and franchisor) to expand more rapidly and increase profitability,” Franchising.com wrote. “After all, if you can make money with one unit, you can make even more with two, three, and so on, right? If you have the background, experience, and inner drive to take on these challenges, then multi-unit franchising could offer you a number of benefits. Rely on people, partners, delegation, and hard work, and you can grow a multi-unit empire.”

Add Sport Clips To Your Franchise Portfolio

Investing in Sport Clips is a great option for entrepreneurs, whether you’re looking for a brand that you can expand on, or if you’re looking for a different franchise concept to diversify your portfolio. That’s because Sport Clips’ business model is designed for multi-unit owners, a result of a simple, straightforward plan that’s easy to grow. In fact, Sport Clips franchise owners have opened as many as 10, 20, 30 and even 40 stores!

“Sport Clips was designed from day one to be a multi-unit opportunity,” says Jim Atkinson, Vice President of Franchise Development. “This was never set up to be an individual unit where someone buys a job for the rest of their lives. Our business model is very simple: we cut hair. We built our business model to grow, and we have all the resources to grow quickly and effectively. We know when you should add resources and when to build additional infrastructure. Whether you want to open up to three stores, five stores, 10 stores, or beyond, we have a plan that can help you get there.”

Even with more than 1,800 locations open, Sport Clips is looking to expand its footprint in prime markets across the U.S. But we don’t just grow for growth’s sake. Sport Clips is highly strategic about where we choose to open new locations, choosing markets where we have the strongest likelihood of growth. And that’s because we want our Team Leaders to grow over the long term.

“Sport Clips has a very strategic approach to growth,” says Atkinson. “We only open as many stores as we can accurately and positively support, because we want our Team Leaders to do well over the long-term. This is not to say we don’t have lofty goals as to how many locations we want to open – we do. But we’re only going to open the stores that we can support, because this needs to be a long-term fit for both parties.”

Why The Hair Industry Is Perfect For Social Media Marketing

What is Social Media Marketing?

Today, more than one in seven Americans use social media on a regular basis. What’s more, the average person spends 147 minutes daily on a number of platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok – to name a few. More than 80% of consumers say marketing and advertisements on social media influence their purchasing habits. It’s no wonder that it has become critical for businesses to advertise on social media. To do so effectively, businesses must find ways to get their messages to stand out from the crowded field.

Social media marketing is the use of these platforms to build the brand, drive revenues and capture website traffic. It’s also brought revolutionary ways to engage with customers and reach potential new ones. The use of social media has provided incredible insights through the use of data analytics. Now, more than ever before, companies can see in real-time if their advertising efforts are reaching the right audience, allowing marketing teams an uncanny ability to adjust strategies on the fly.

With so many new platforms and technology changing by the day, it’s important to keep on top of trends to ensure you’re being heard in a crowded landscape. Industry studies have shown the more targeted your marketing campaigns are, the more effective they will be at reaching the right audience. There are a ton of ways to make it happen, from conducting a competitive analysis, auditing your current social media marketing strategies, creating engaging and exciting content, and tracking your performance. Marketing through social media has changed the game for business marketing strategies in so many exciting ways, but it takes know-how to get it done right.

Social Media Marketing for a Franchise

Social media marketing is a great tool franchise owners can use to promote their business. In many cases, platforms are free to access and use, and ads with these platforms are typically cheaper than traditional digital ad marketing. According to Entrepreneur magazine, more than half of businesses report that social media is one of the top lead generating franchise platforms. With 71% of customers saying they are more likely to purchase from a company after a positive experience on social media, the revenue-driving potential that comes with an effective social media marketing plan is through the roof.

Franchises already come with an incredible level of brand awareness – it’s one of the huge benefits of investing in a franchise system. Social media marketing, however, allows franchisees to connect with potential customers on a more local level. With the right digital knowledge and skills, companies have an incredible ability to now target potential customers at the right place at the right time. This can increase your local brand awareness in ways never before available. And, as noted above, the cost to launch social media marketing campaigns is much less expensive than traditional methods.

At Sport Clips, we encourage our franchisees to share Client images, post positive reviews, and tell the stories of Clients who have had a great experience at our locations. Haircut on Sunday: Illegal or Pure Profits?

Illegal to Get a Haircut on Sundays?!?

Over the years, some states have adopted some rather weird laws: in Kentucky, you’re not allowed to bring a reptile to church; in Maine, you’re not allowed to dance without a permit; and in North Carolina, you’re not allowed to wear a Halloween costume to a business meeting. But this law in New York may take the cake: no haircuts or shaves on a Sunday!

It’s true – the law made it illegal to cut hair, shave, or engage in any other barber-related work on Sundays, dating back to old laws surrounding the Sabbath in New York. Anyone who dared get a haircut on a Sunday could be subject to a misdemeanor charge and a fine up to $5 for a first offense. Getting caught a second time could result in a fine up to $25 and 25 days in jail!

Over the years, some of these old laws fell through the cracks and technically remained in effect, though were very rarely enforced (if at all). In July 2021, New York State officially repealed the law in an effort to clean up their record books. Now, you can rest easy in that chair on a Sunday while getting a quick shave and cut!

Sport Clips Flexible Schedule

At Sport Clips Haircuts, our Team Leaders have the freedom to set their own hours. Translation: if you have the demand and the staff, you can operate seven days a week, creating more jobs and an opportunity for more profits. Sport Clips, the dominant brand in the multi-billion dollar hair salon industry, has provided a path to financial independence and a healthy work-life balance for countless franchise owners.

Sport Clips’ business model is truly one-of-a-kind. Team Leaders are responsible for building culture and developing an expert team to take care of the day-to-day, allowing them to focus on growing their business and take care of duties on the back end. Our Team Leaders spend just 10-20 hours per week working on the business. But being open on Sundays, however, is one more day for staff to get hours in and potential revenue to come through the door.

“Our team leaders are phenomenal businesspeople,” says Edward Logan, CEO and president of Sport Clips. “Very few of our team leaders have salon experience or beauty experience – and that experience isn’t necessary. Our top-performing team leaders are people friendly. Of course, this is a business and we’re all trying to make money, but I think the best way to determine if this is the right business for you is whether you can get passionate about this business, or will this just be a spreadsheet for you? Our mission is to create a championship haircut experience for men & boys in an exciting sports environment. If you’re excited about that – then we’re excited about you.”

Why Franchising Is The Solution To Corporate Burnout

Corporate Burnout Is Just The Start for Many Workers

It wasn’t until recently that we’ve been able to talk openly about corporate burnout. In the past, workers were made to feel it was a normal and expected part of the job to put in long hours, endure constant stress, and never be able to put work away. Many workers were even reluctant to question these supposed norms, fearing there would always be someone else willing to take their place. Behind the scenes, however, corporate burnout took many forms: chronic depression, feelings of emptiness, weight gain, substance abuse, physical exhaustion, irritable outbursts, mental fatigue – just to name a few of the many associated symptoms.

Many factors may contribute to corporate burnout, too – heavy workloads, long hours, unhealthy work-life balance, or feeling like you have no control over your work. Indeed, research suggests many workers feel this is a result of unclear job expectations, dysfunctional workplaces, lack of support, and feelings of isolation at work. The Mayo Clinic put together a list to ask yourself if you think you are experiencing corporate burnout: Have you become cynical at work? Do you have trouble finding the motivation to get started for the day? Is it hard to concentrate? Are you dissatisfied with your achievements? Have you become irritable with co-workers and clients? Any of these can be a sign you are suffering from burnout.

Fortunately, corporate burnout is now being talked about in the mainstream. In 2019, the World Health Organization recognized the affliction in the “International Classification of Diseases.” And that was before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, workers have left their previous jobs in record numbers, in favor of new employment opportunities with healthier work-life balances. More than ever before, American workers are fed up with the unnecessary and unrewarding demands of corporate jobs, and are seeking out more meaningful, rewarding, and downright fun career paths.

The Great Resignation

While corporate burnout isn’t new, the events of the past two years have led us to what’s known as “The Great Resignation.” In 2021 alone, about 47.5 million people voluntarily quit their job – an unprecedented record amount – looking for better work during the pandemic. Even now, this trend shows no signs of slowing down: currently, about 40 percent of employees are considering leaving their job, according to a report in Fortune magazine.

So why are workers quitting their jobs? A Pew Research Center study found most workers cited low pay, a lack of opportunities for advancement, and feeling disrespected at work as the top reasons why they left their places of employment. Respondents in the survey listed they were looking for a better work-life balance and more flexibility. If we’ve learned anything the past two years, it’s that long-standing issues with corporate workplaces were exacerbated, and came to a boiling point, during the pandemic, leading to record shifts in the American workforce.

Franchising Is The Answer

Leaving the corporate world behind, American workers are increasingly choosing to realize their dreams of small business ownership and be their own boss through the benefits of franchising. Case in point: over 17,000 new franchise locations were added in the US in the past year, according to the International Franchise Association.

“Overall, it has been a long and difficult time, but the franchise industry has made it through to the other side,” Forbes magazine wrote. “Now, as more and more people look to take control of their destiny through entrepreneurship, and customers return to their pre-pandemic habits, it is an incredibly exciting time to be a part of the franchise industry.”

Let’s look at why franchising is the preferred choice for aspiring entrepreneurs. For one, franchise owners have all the freedoms of making judgment calls and decisions that are right for their business, while at the same time, having the backing support of a franchise network. To that end, franchisees truly have unlimited profit potential. With a proven strategy and solid business plan in place, franchise owners are provided the groundwork for their investment. With unlimited training and support on operational aspects like technology and marketing, franchise owners have the capacity to focus on growth.

Sport Clips Haircuts is the Perfect Franchise to Fight Corporate Burnout

Sport Clips Haircuts has a long and proven track record of helping entrepreneurs seek greater freedom, a more flexible lifestyle, and a solid foundational future. It’s why so many aspiring entrepreneurs have abandoned the corporate world and chose to invest in Sport Clips as a path to business ownership.

How do we do it? Sport Clips’ business model is manager-style, meaning you work on – and not in – the business, hiring store managers who oversee day-to-day operations. As a result, you have the freedom and flexibility to grow your business, develop and implement marketing strategies, and take care of administrative duties on the back end. Team Leaders are expected to spend only 10-15 hours on their stores per week, which allows for the opportunity for multi-unit ownership.

“Sport Clips was designed from day one to be a multi-unit opportunity,” says Jim Atkinson, vice president of franchise development. “This was never set up to an individual unit where someone buys a job for the rest of their lives. Our business model is very simple: we cut hair. We built our business model to scale, and we have all the resources to scale quickly and effectively. We know when you should add resources and when to build additional infrastructure. Whether you want to scale up to three stores, five stores, 10 stores, or beyond, we have a plan that can help you get there.”

Franchise Culture Contributes To Franchisee Satisfaction

A Strong Franchise Culture Means Strong Franchisees

A franchise’s culture is, at its core, the ethical codes and values a company lives by. Just as important, it’s how potential franchisees know whether they are a right fit when deciding which brand to invest in. When defining a franchise culture, many factors are at play – brand values, policies, procedures, ethics, goals, and attitudes. At the end of the day, these operating principals make up a company’s character and work environment. Increasingly, a strong culture is important not only for the success of the business, but also for the strength of the franchisee. According to a study by Deloitte, 94 percent of executives and 88 percent of employees believe a distinct workplace culture is important to a business’s success.

In practice, a strong franchise culture goes beyond just a mission statement or employee manual. According to Forbes magazine, “It’s those things and more. It’s a set of very often at least partially unwritten rules about how the franchisor and franchisee work together as a whole to deliver what’s written down, how they communicate with each other, how they support each other, interrelate and behave with each other, and what’s expected of them individually and overall. The culture of the franchise is what should keep the franchise team together as just that – a team.”

A clear culture is a win-win. For the franchisee, they know from the outset whether they are a match for a particular company and its business style. For the franchisor, defined expectations and leadership goals help steer the company in the right direction. That’s why Sport Clips Haircuts has spent years meticulously building its franchise culture, by setting out clear expectations, policies, and values. For nearly three decades, Sport Clips has followed a well-defined mission statement and clear vision, and makes sure its executive team and franchisees exemplify it. As a result, Sport Clips has earned one of the best brand reputations in the country and continues to be a highly sought-after investment for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Sport Clips Franchise Story

Sport Clips was founded on a bright idea in a landscape of opportunity. In 1993, Gordon Logan, an industry veteran who had been in the salon industry for years, saw a gap in the hair care service market: no one was catering to specifically men and boys’ haircuts. One location in Austin, Texas methodically grew into a nationally recognized brand, which now boasts nearly 1,900 locations open in every U.S. state, as well as in Canada. Through it all, Sport Clips’ growth is due to the company’s values: do  what’s right, do your best, and treat others the way they want to be treated.

“Our values aren’t just words on the wall,” says Allyson Young, chief people officer. “We live these values every day – and they’re true, timeless values. It’s so important that everyone in our organization aligns with our culture, because we only win with everyone on board. Everyone in this organization has an essential role to play, and we’re accountable to each other. If we’re successful at the store level, the entire brand is successful.”

To maintain a strong culture, Sport Clips is highly selective in making sure franchisees are a good fit and will ensure the integrity of the brand. Every year, franchisees come together at a “National Huddle” to work as one team with a shared goal: to make Sport Clips the strongest, most exciting franchise in the industry. The 2022 huddle theme “Dare to Be” challenged Team Leaders to enhance training programs for stylists, advance technology for the franchise and clients, and to also think of ways to renew their commitment to philanthropy. Giving back has been key to Sport Clips, and its “Haircuts with Heart” program focuses on national philanthropic partnerships, while encouraging franchisees to take on charity efforts of their own.

“In any business, the competitive advantage is the people who make up the organization,” says Gordon Logan, Sport Clips founder and chairman. “We’re looking for people with passion and people who love people. We’re looking for people who want to build teams and see their teams succeed. If we can attract the Team Leaders that focus on their teams, that’s the right fit. We believe success flows up.”

Sport Clips Haircuts Showcased for MVP Experience

MVP Experience Getting Attention

Making clients feel like they’re special and receiving first-class service is no easy task, but Sport Clips Haircuts has perfected the craft. Recently, Franchising.com acknowledged Sport Clips’ famed MVP Experience and how it makes the wildly popular hair care provider stand out as a fan favorite. When a client comes into a Sport Clips location for MVP service, they are greeted with a hot steamed towel, massaging shampoo, and neck and shoulder treatment, as well as a precision haircut. Now, Sport Clips has released a new addition that’s already become a hit – a proprietary custom blend of organic scents.

“When our clients come in, we’ve found that even if they’re in a hurry, they want to feel relaxed while they’re getting a haircut,” says Edward Logan, Sport Clips CEO and president. “We introduced the MVP service in 2005, 12 years after we opened our first store in 1993. Through years of perfecting the processes in becoming the pros in men’s hair, we’ve found the addition of ‘scent’ enhances the client experience and allows the relaxation to begin soon after they walk in the door.”

Sport Clips has found soothing scents improve a client’s overall experience. Now when a client visits their local Sport Clips, the hot steamed towel that’s applied to the face during the MVP is infused with a relaxing blend, such as chamomile, lavender, and eucalyptus. As an added bonus: the scents are plant-based and all natural. Already it’s proven to be a successful service: 82 percent of clients surveyed in product testing said the new scent improves the MVP experience.

Sport Clips Always Evolving

Sport Clips is proud to have grown to nearly 1,900 locations since it was founded in 1993, but that doesn’t mean the franchise has become complacent. Instead, Sport Clips is always looking for ways to evolve and adapt to client needs and desires.

Among our many new and innovative ideas, Sport Clips’ online check-in platform makes it easy for clients to check in for their service on their phones, tablets, or laptops. Then, when they arrive, their name is on a digital wallboard, so they can see when “on deck” for their haircut. In recent months, Sport Clips has invested heavily in new technology and marketing strategies to make sure we’re ahead of the curve and ahead of competitors. As part of Sports Clips ingrained culture, we make a point to include franchisee input, because who knows better how to improve our business model than the people running it day to day?

Sport Clips is primed for growth, but not just growth for growth’s sake – we place a high value on strategic growth, only opening where it makes sense for the strongest likelihood for success. Our franchisees have also invested in multi-unit ownership in record numbers, expanding their footprint and diversifying their revenue stream. Now, Sport Clips is offering opportunities in prime markets across the U.S.

Is This The Year To Invest In The Hair Franchise Industry?

The Year of the Franchise

As millions of Americans reevaluated their career paths in the past few years and decided they want to control their own fate by running their own business, 2022 has truly become the year of the franchise, and for most, the best time to jump into the franchise industry.

Indeed, the COVID pandemic reversed a decades-long decline in the pace of entrepreneurship. According to a report in Vox, a record 5.4 million Americans applied for business IDs in 2021, with 2022 on track to surpass that number.

Even Forbes magazine reported that as many businesses struggled during the pandemic, franchises thrived. For so many Americans who wanted to run their own business, they chose the franchise model, which offers so many advantages, such as a proven operating strategy, strong backing support and brand awareness.

“After nearly two years of economic uncertainty, more and more people are following their entrepreneurial dreams and taking control of their destiny through business ownership,” Forbes wrote. “As a result, interest in franchising is reaching an unprecedented high, and 2022 is set to be a year of major franchise growth.”

Salon Franchise Industry is Booming

The hair care and beauty industry has seen this same remarkable growth in the past few years. In the U.S. alone, the hair and beauty industry generated $64 billion in revenue in 2018, with the 50 largest salons accounting for about 15% of sales.

According to a report Trafft, the market could hit $87 billion by 2023!

“The hair care and beauty industry is dynamic and continues to grow at a rapid pace,” Trafft reported. “Consumers are always looking for the latest trends and the best hair care products and services. Their needs are always changing. In order to meet these demands, the hair industry continues to develop and evolve.”

Why Invest In Sport Clips?

All over the country, our franchisees are reporting their customers are restless to get back in the barber chair and reconnect with the people who have cut their hair for years. That’s why we believe Sport Clips is truly poised for a banner year in business and growth in 2022 and beyond.

But don’t just take our word for it – Sport Clips is consistently one of the highest ranked hair franchises among franchise industry experts.

“For entrepreneurs looking to build a business, Sport Clips franchise is an easy-to-understand business model that’s simple to execute while offering something every guy needs,” Top Franchise wrote in its rankings. “Enjoy greater freedom and reach your personal and financial goals, growing a business on your terms that will always be in demand and has recurring revenue.”

Last but certainly not least, NerdWallet, the go-to spot for so many Americans and their business needs, recently reported Sport Clips was among the top hair salon franchises for 2022, pointing out Sport Clips has grown from about 50 stores in 1998 to now more than 1,800 locations across the U.S.

Sport Clips Franchise Review: Meet Melissa Strick

How one woman entrepreneur became a top-performer with the iconic men’s haircut franchise

If you wanted to find out how to become a top-performing franchise owner with Sport Clips, asking Team Lead Melissa Strick would be an excellent place to start.

After opening her first location in Hagerstown, Maryland in January 2021, Melissa is already looking for her second location. She shows how our business model is built for growth, and that the significant training and ongoing support can help a first-time business owner exceed their goals.

“This experience of owning a Sport Clips has been incredibly rewarding,” Melissa says. “I knew before we opened that Sport Clips had a great reputation, but they’ve gone above and beyond. Ever since we opened our doors, support has been pouring in every day.”

In many ways, Melissa had the inside scoop on Sport Clips long before she became a Team Lead. Her sister works in the hair salon industry, and had not only managed a Sport Clips location, but she had also worked for Great Clips and Super Cuts, and Sport Clips was by far her favorite.

“When my husband and I were fortunate enough to explore business ownership, we looked at a lot of different brands,” Melissa says. “We looked at Massage Envy, we looked at lash bars, and family entertainment franchises. When we came upon Sport Clips, I knew it was the right choice. It was a manager-based business model, which was my wheelhouse, and my sister was a manager of a few different hair salon brands, and Sport Clips was such a positive experience.”

Even during their process researching franchise opportunities, the couple found that the way Sport Clips treated them was far different than the other franchise concepts they were exploring at the same time.

“The other franchise opportunities made us feel like they were only interested in us for our money,” Melissa says. “With Sport Clips, it felt like they were trying to get to know us as people. They wanted to know about our family, our goals, and our values – and that’s exactly what we cared about. We wanted a brand with a strong culture, strong values, and proven track record.”

Melissa found that Sport Clips made good on their culture of support and Heart of a Champion ethos right away when she went to her initial training session.

“When I first came to the Team Lead training, I was drinking little sips of the Sport Clips Kool-Aid, but by the time I’d graduated, I was drinking whole gulps,” she says, with a laugh. “The level of support at every level of the business model has been phenomenal.”

Melissa is focused on creating a culture of care and support in her store. This means visiting her store frequently, and making her stylists feel like valued members of her own family.

“It’s so important to make sure that my stylists feel important, because they truly are,” Melissa says. “I’m in my store often, and I like to make sure they feel appreciated. I give out gift certificates for hitting their goals or doing a great job, I bring coffee, and I listen to what they need. You have to create a culture of support with your stylists to retain them, and making them feel valued goes a long way.”

A little over one year into her new business, Melissa is ready to grow. Her experience in the business has given her confidence to expand into multi-unit ownership – and she’s already looking for a second location.

“I believe in Sport Clips so much that I told my Area Developer that I want all of the available territory,” Melissa says. “I’m very excited about the future, and can’t wait to keep growing.”

This Men’s Spa Franchise Is One Of Entrepreneurs’ Hottest Opportunities

Becoming a Sport Clips team leader is a great way to capitalize on one of the hottest investment opportunities this year

If industry experts have learned anything in the past two years with the upheaval of a global pandemic, it’s that people are willing to go to great lengths to prioritize their wellbeing, both mentally and physically, with a Sport Clips, a men’s spa franchise.

Which is why Entrepreneur magazine, the leading publication for insights on entrepreneurship, small business management and business, recently listed “Salon and Spa Services” as one of the “Hottest Franchise Categories for 2022.”

Every December, Entrepreneur magazine’s seasoned industry experts forecast which types of franchises will do best and show the greatest potential for success in the year ahead.

“We look at growth—both in the number of franchise units and in the number of new franchisors in a category—and consider what trends are evident both within and without the franchise world,” Entrepreneur magazine wrote in its report. “To an extent, we also listen to the instincts we’ve honed over years of ranking and writing about franchises.”

True, industries that benefited from pandemic-related needs, such as cleaning and restoration, as well as health and wellness, made the list.

However, Entrepreneur magazine’s experts believe franchise growth in 2022 will be driven by both the need and desire to regain a sense of normalcy, which is why Salon and Spa Services is uniquely positioned for success as people return to in-person self-care.

Indeed, salon and spa industry studies show customers are eager to get back to scheduled appointments after shutdowns temporarily closed salons and barbershops in the early days of the pandemic. Not surprisingly, nearly 80% of consumers said that regular salon and spa services are critical to regain a sense of normalcy as the world reopens.

This is exactly the case at Sports Clips, one of the most widely recognized and popular men’s spa and haircutting franchises in the nation. Founded in 1993, Sport Clips has grown to over 1,800 locations in North America and is the only hair cutting franchise to have a footprint in all 50 states.

All over the country, our franchisees are reporting their customers are restless to get back in the barber chair and reconnect with the people who have cut their hair for years. That’s why we believe Sports Clips is truly poised for a banner year in business and growth in 2022 and beyond.

“Sport Clips is stronger than ever before,” says Edward Logan, CEO of Sport Clips. “We’ve proven that we’re not only recession-resistant, but we’re also pandemic-resistant. This is a very stable business with steady cash flow and straightforward business model. Now is a great time to invest in Sport Clips, because as we head into 2022, we’re excited about the great real estate opportunities that exist right now, as well as the disruption of client behavior. As people change their buying behavior and their habits, the brands that go out and capture those clients are going to win an outsize market share. That’s going to be us because that’s how we’re thinking.”
